Over the last few weekends, Members of Maryland Line Volunteer Fire Company have participated in a company drivers training program. This in-house program has those members that drive our Apparatus engage in Classroom learning/discussions and a Driving Course. The classroom portion of the training had members reviewing safe driving techniques for Emergency Apparatus Drivers as well as reviewing internal SOP’s & Baltimore County Fire Department SOP’s for Accidents involving Apparatus both owned by MLVFC and the use of BCoFD Reserve Apparatus. The driving course included a diminishing clearance, serpentine and an alley dock scenarios.
