It’s been a busy 2 days for the Members of Maryland Line Volunteer Fire Company Tanker 454 has responded to 2 Working Fires, 1 being a 2nd Alarm Structure Fire. Yesterday, Tanker 454 was alerted at 1000hrs for a Barn Fire in Butler. Units arrived to find a 50x50 Barn completely burned to the ground. Units worked together to save the animals involved. Tanker 454 supplied water to the Engine on scene for mop up and overhaul. This morning, Tanker 454 was alerted as part of the Tanker Strike Team with 2nd Alarm for a Structure Fire in Brooklandville. Units arrived to find heavy fire from an attached garage. Which prompted the 2nd Alarm and Tanker Strike Team. Tanker 454 provided water shuttle operations for approximately an hour and a half before clearing the scene.
